Frida

Frida Kahlo is a great influence for any artistic work. 

Not only she was one of the most talented woman that ever lived, she was beautiful, strong, using her life, her pains, her culture as an inspiration for her work. She did work all her life despite her terrible accident that compelled her to bed regularly.

Thats after a random project at school (the shoes, printed with two different paintings) and a comment of my friend T. saying that her Frida costume for Halloween was so great and that she regretted not to have any pictures of her that I decided to make it Happen ! And she was right she looks absolutely amazing dressed like that ! I think that it was a good idea not to make it to shinny and colourful, like we can see in editorials inspired by the cultural mexican style of Frida, but a bit more humble and thoughtful, to relate to her personality.
